JESS
Luke's working long hours, and coupled from being away from Jess, it's been even harder!
Jess loves her life in Northern England, and has built a large circle of friends, but there has been someone who she's been missing!
Luke and Jess have been forced apart by work opportunities and geography. Living at opposite ends of the country has forced them to share tiring weekends and long motorway journeys just to be able to snatch a precious few hours together and to keep their loving relationship alive.
Until Now!
Luke has managed to secure a job close enough to the love of his life and will finally, after years apart, be able to live with Jess once again.
What Suprise does Jess have in store!
A Welcome Dinner Party for Lukes Arrival....
Jess is excitable and happy, is celebrating with an impromptu dinner party to welcome her Beau to his new home. He’ll get to know some locals and to begin, finally, his new life living ‘Up North’.
Luke had an idea too. He has committed to being a part of a documentary film that is focused on the expense of living in London and relocating to other parts of the country. He has not told Jess and has planned a short getaway with his fee for participation.
The Dinner Party!
The day arrives with the love of Jess's life, Luke both reunited, it's clear they both have different surprises at the beginning of the night. It's not long before the guests to arrive!
The Dinner Party is soon be in full swing, with guests seated and drinks poured, it’s soon evident that opinions, personalities and some values are not quite aligned. As alcohol flows more freely, tempers and opinions are raised, and the chaos of a seemingly innocent dinner party soon overtakes any feeling of merriment planned.
Late arrivals and more alcohol accompany the tense and somewhat dramatic behaviour of our guests as the night trundles along a path to its conclusion.
